Triple Numbers in the BibleWe can't walk through the opened door if our hand is still holding onto the doorknob of a closed door. Click To Tweet
Repeated 3 Times in the Bible
God has been showing me a lot of triple numbers lately. I see them on the clock when it is 2:22pm. I see them on my timer when there is 5 minutes and 55 seconds left. And I see them in Scripture when I happened to turn to chapter 1 verse 11. When anything is repeated three times in the Bible, there is an absolution and emphasis on whatever is being repeated. For example, when the living creatures say, “Holy, Holy, Holy,” in Revelation 4.8, they are emphasizing Jesus’ absolute and complete holiness.
Today, I want to say that God is tying up and/or completely cutting the loose ends in your life. If you feel like there is some unfinished business, He will complete what has been started, so He can unleash you to the next chapter or season of your life. Many times, He is holding you still, so He can close certain doors, which will help you see the opened ones that are staring you in the face.We must slow down or even stop and ask the Holy Spirit what we are hanging onto that we need to let go of or what needs to happened in order to have closure? Here are the verses that God has given me in this season of closing old doors and opening new ones. I pray for each of you that God completes all of His promises in your life and that the desires He has given you take flight.
Bible Meaning for the Number 1
1 (the number of God and His unity): “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11.1 NIV).
In order to let go of old doors, we must believe that God has bigger and better ones opened and ready for us. We can find unity with God–total peace and joy– as we follow Him on our path of purpose, but our faith must be activated!”
Bible Meaning for the Number 2
2 (the number for witness or testimony): “It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations” (Revelation 22.2 NLT).
God wants to flow His Spirit (Living Water) like a river down your life. He wants you, your family and your work to bear all kinds of fruit that provide support, sustenance, resources and healing to others. He wants to bless you, so you can be a blessing!
Bible Meaning for the Number 3
3 (the number for the Trinity-Creator, Savior, Counselor): “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come” (Jeremiah 33.3 NLT).
God created the Trinity, so He could relate to each of us in three unique and relevant ways. He wants to be our Father and Creator — God. He wants to be our Brother and Savior — Jesus. He wants to be our Friend and Counselor — Holy Spirit. Jesus died on the Cross, so we could have a relationship with Him. He wants to have intimacy with us, communicating with us like family and friends.
Bible Meaning for the Number 4
4 (the number of the four corners of the earth): “For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children. They will thrive like watered grass, like willows on a riverbank” (Isaiah 44.3-4 NLT).
God wants His People to spread across the four corners of the earth — abundant like inland grasses and coastal willows. He wants to water us with His Spirit, so the nations can see we are blessed by Him. People will see the difference in our lives, and we will be a testimony of God’s glory to the world.
Bible Meaning for the Number 5
5 (the number of God’s grace and human responsibility): “My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death have fallen on me. Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me” (Psalm 55.4-5 NIV).
Without God, the great purposes He has for us would crush us. Alone we can do nothing. We continually need God’s grace every single day to achieve the great things that He as ordained for our life. Let this understanding cause us to ALWAYS rely on God and not human understanding. We don’t have to fear because God hears our cry, and He will save us!
