These pics are of Christina and me at the Botched studio and fake doctor’s office just before filming the consultation scene with Dr. Nassif and Dr. Dubrow. The producers had me go into the consultation room first and pretend I was my twin to throw off the doctors. When Dr. Nassif noticed that my nose didn’t look damaged, I told him that I went on Youtube and learned how to shade it to make it look less twisted. He obviously didn’t believe me and asked if I had a sister. When I said yes, he figured out what was going on.
I was relieved when I was able to finally retrieve my sister and bring her into the office. Christina and Dr. Dubrow ragged on Dr. Nassif about being a narcissist (which was just silly banter). Christina is an amazing and very talented psychotherapist, and she was able to jest and tag team with Dubrow against Nassif. It was hilarious and innocent fun, and I throughly enjoyed watching the wit of words.
I was super nervous. Although my twin and I had been in another reality TV show, CMT MADE, I wasn’t use to the cameras and people being all around us. I’m a writer and spend most of my time at home. My sister, however, sees clients all day, so she’s used to being around and chatting with people. Nevertheless, it was an amazing experience filled with special moments with my twin. Here is our interview with Teresa Ann that really goes into God’s movements in our story: Interview with Teresa Ann. You can also win a signed copy of my book, Following God Across the Page, which details my sister’s near death car accident and how we landed on the Season 5 Premiere of Botched.
