The Fool Wise
“The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making the wise simple” (Psalm 19.13 ESV).
God makes the fool wise. All of us begin our lives in a selfish state and ignorant of eternal things, thinking mainly of the fleeting trivialities that our world deems important. It is the Holy Spirit’s job to infiltrate the hearts, minds and wills of God’s people, steadily changing us from glory to glory unto the likeness of Christ. The Bible is the testimony of our Lord. Jesus is the Word, and He was made flesh to walk among us over two thousand years ago. Jesus’ legacy lives on through the proclamation of the disciples, the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the revelation of the Bible. God’s commandments and promises walk side-by-side through the pages of the BIble, allowing us to daily live in the grace and love of Jesus Christ. The Bible flows like liquid salve, healing the soul and igniting the spirit. To neglect the reading of God’s Holy Word is to ignore the purest gold and disregard the sweetest honey. When we view the Bible as it truly is, the Living Water of True Life, we will drink from it daily with thirsty hearts eager for more!
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1.14 NIV).
