My brother who is a missionary to Africa is raising money to help an 8 year old girl named Lorraine. Lorraine was hit by a bus while walking with her mother and has been waiting for 9 months in the government hospital of Kenya for skin grafts. She was slowly dying there until my sister-in-law was able to get her out. You can read this story and more here.
My brother and my sister-in-law brought Lorraine to a private hospital, and they discovered that Lorraine also has a broken hip bone and femur. My brother has raised enough money to get Lorraine’s first surgery completed, but Lorraine will need a few more surgeries on her road to recovery.
You can read about Lorraine’s story at my brother’s blog, Andrus Family Missions. If you would like to donate whatever amount, please visit Please Help Lorraine. My brother’s family would also love your prayers for Lorraine. We are praying that the surgeries are successful and that her body begins to become strong again. Most of all, we are praying that God’s glory is displayed every step of the way.
